A Quick Glimpse

at Women's World Cup & MLS

Women’s World Cup:

Could Canada’s failure be a good thing? They were over-confident in their new style of play. Brass and young, this lesson could give them the experience to really shine at home in 2015. What is important is that they progress from here, accept responsibility and use this failure to grow.

MLS:

Should engage out of town fans with organized bus trips to the stadium and deals on accommodations. The problem for teams that have their home grounds far away from major urban centres is the lack of walk up crowds due to the stadium inaccessibility. If clubs were to cast a wider net to catch fans with promotions, perhaps they would become regulars or at least make occasional trips and catch matches on TV, which could help the dire ratings.
