The first of the off-season reflection posts at Waking the Red looking back at the season that was and projecting forward into the upcoming 2014 season.
The question is whether Mark Bloom can replace the outgoing Richard Eckersley or whether another option will come in.

Beyond POV-FS – Toronto FC Top 31 Countdown: Number 18 - Jeremy Hall at Waking the Red
My contribution to Waking the Red’s annual countdown of TFC players profiling the season of Jeremy Hall.
Be sure to have a look and check out the rest of the countdown as assembled by the fine staff at WtR; looking back at the season in such a manner is a laborious, painstaking and often heart-wrenching task.
Reminding oneself of the failures discarded from memory, assessing whom amongst them is worthy of a return; putting to words the failings of another season.

First Person View – Diagnosing and Correcting Why Toronto FC Lose in the League, but Fared Well in the Champions League, and Addressing the Calls for Change.
I wrote this the night I got back from Montreal. Weary from the road – and the result; I thought I'd rewrite it and hope to make a more complete argument, but upon review I think the frantic search for answers is an apt reflection of the situation many found themselves in after the loss.

Upon First Glance – Toronto FC v Columbus Crew
Another disappointing loss – only 0-1 this time - for the remaining faithful at BMO Field to take in on a sunny, yet cool early spring afternoon. Symmetry was achieved as the reserves lost by the same score-line following the day's main event.

The opening league match of the season, two teams coming off emotional midweek adventures in CONCACAF. After listening on a choppy stream on the bus I finally got around to watching the match last night.

Upon First Glance – Columbus Crew v Toronto FC
A night of firsts as Toronto FC picked up their first road win of the season, a first ever over Columbus, and clinched the Trillium Cup for the first time. An entertaining 2-4 win was nerve-wracking at times, but enjoyable in the end.
