Previews of TFC's upcoming opponent, the Columbus Crew SC, are up over at Waking the Red.
The two parts of Know Your Enemy assess their lineup and form (Part One), before reviewing the available game film for strengths and weaknesses, while highlighting some points of interest (Part Two).
In addition, Waking the Red exchanged some questions and answers with sister-site Massive Report, SB Nation's Columbus affiliate – Crew SC responses can be seen here, while TFC answers are here.
Enjoy the match!

Beyond POV-FS – MLS Canadian Content, Round 01 at Canadian Soccer News
The first review of the Canadian performances in MLS this season went up over at Canadian Soccer News yesterday.
Pickings were rather slim, with only four candidates seeing the pitch throughout, while two of those players – Tesho Akindele and Steven Vitoria – have only the most tenuous of links to the National Team.
Top spot goes to Russell Teibert, who was lively in his hour-plus on the pitch; second spot to one of his opponents that match, Toronto's Jonathan Osorio.

Beyond POV-FS – Know Your Enemy: Vancouver Whitecaps & How You Doin' at Waking the Red
A cornucopia of preview articles are up over at Waking the Red, previewing Toronto's start to the 2015 MLS season, which begins with a daunting trip to Vancouver on Saturday.
The two parts of Know Your Enemy should be familiar to most by now – this will be the third (maybe fourth – no time to check) season of those previews. Part One looks over Vancouver's lineup and form, while Part Two hits the tape room to review some of the scant game film available from preseason for strengths and weaknesses.
Added to those two, Waking the Red exchanged some questions with Eighty Six Forever, SB Nation's Vancouver site, to dig a little deeper before the evening kickoff. Jon Szekeres was kind enough to provide some answers on the 'Caps, while TFC responses can be found here.
After an off-season that passed as if in the blink of an eye, MLS is back for its twentieth season. Two new expansion clubs, a raft of new stars, and plenty of intrigue. Should be fun.

Beyond POV-FS – No Lov' Lost: NYC FC exacts a pound of flesh from TFC at Vocal Minority
The good folks over at Vocal Minority, who have decided to supplement their audio words with some written ones, have a snazzy new website – the header art alone is worth the visit – and seeing as it was nearly two days old already, it was about time it featured a piece by yours truly.
As such, a bit of a shade-throwing post went up yesterday. Pure speculation, but an interesting confluence of circumstances surrounding New York City FC's decision to select Daniel Lovitz in the MLS Expansion Draft and then trade him back to Toronto; reminiscent of similar shenangians back in 2006 – and could perhaps lead to the birth of a new rivalry – check it out.

Beyond POV-FS – TFC Top 30 Countdown: #16 Jackson at Waking the Red
Another contribution to Waking the Red's massive end of season review, counting down through every player to take to the pitch for the club in 2014.
Ending the first half of the list, at number sixteen, is the elusive Jackson, a player that many never quite took to heart – as foretold by his place in the countdown – despite being one of the better contributors to the side this season – with four goals he had the fourth most for the club in 2014.
Check it out - as well as the rest of the countdown

Beyond POV-FS – MLS Week in Review: 2014 MLS Cup Final at Canadian Soccer News
A full review of the MLS Cup Final between the Los Angeles Galaxy and the New England Revolution is up over at Canadian Soccer News.
Like most finals, it was a close-fought affair, rather than the run-and-gun encounter fans always hope for – at least the winner proved to be a moment of pure class – check it out.
Also, never got around to posting the link for the review of the second legs of the conference finals, which can be viewed here, if one is so inclined.
This endeavour, recapping every match played throughout the MLS season is a massive undertaking – the end of the season comes with a certain amount of relief. That said, thanks so much for following along, it has been a fun season and with two new clubs joining the league in 2015 it looks to be getting even better.

Beyond POV-FS – TFC Top 30 Countdown: #24 Ashtone Morgan at Waking the Red
A first contribution to the annual end of season countdown of the players who represented Toronto FC this season is up over at Waking the Red, looking over the year that was for one Ashtone Morgan.
A massive endeavour each year, the countdown cycles through the full gambit of the TFC squad, starting with those on the periphery, riding the pine or having just made their way onto the fringes of the first team and continues all the way to the best player on the team – just who will take the number one spot this year?
Check out the post on Morgan, who fell from tenth down to 24th with a severe lack of playing time, and see who else has been discussed at the full countdown. Posts come out daily (or so), so be sure to follow along as the off-season dissection is fully underway.

The usual weekly MLS review went up at Canadian Soccer News yesterday, covering the Knockout Round and the First Legs of the Conference Semifinals of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs.
No separate Canadian Content post for the playoffs, as Tesho Akindele was the lone Canadian to see the pitch – he did score a goal though, which was something, helping Dallas to knock out Vancouver last Wednesday.

Beyond POV-FS – TFC Season-Ending Press Conferences: Tim Bezbatchenko and Greg Vanney
A pair of summary pieces went up over at Waking the Red earlier this week, recounting the second day of season-ending press conferences, featuring Toronto FC's General Manager, Tim Bezbatchenko and Head Coach, Greg Vanney.
It was a pretty interesting day, both for things said and those left unsaid; a fitting end for an interesting season, full of twists and turns, positivity and disappointment.
Plenty of reasons to be optimistic; it will be a very busy off-season for TFC.

POV-FS Out Loud – Episode 59 of The Vocal Minority Podcast
The good folks over at VMP were kind enough to have me back on, despite my stepping on certain toes (Ca-Caaw!), to take part in a hefty post-mortem with Toronto FC’s season dashed against the rocks.
Plenty of topics were covered, from losses, to personnel, management, where things went wrong and what could happen over the next few months.
Was surprised how much we had to say about the club that keeps on disappointing….
Check it out – Soundcloud, browse through the whole library, and get involved in the conversation, including this week’s Bitchy Blank: In lieu of playoff tickets, TFC fans will receive (blank) this post-season?
