Good Listens – MLS Podcast Round-Up

A new feature to POV-FS highlighting a trio of must-hear North American podcast gold from the past few days:

NASN’s Soccer Made in Portland features a fascinating tactical chat with Timbers coach Caleb Porter. Many a lay-person has wondered how a coach approaches a match, tactically speaking, how they feel about formational structures, and how they introduce concepts into training.

MLS Reserves’ Off the Bench has an informative chat with Nick Rogers, President of the newly rebrand NASL Minnesota United.

What the Flock, a Chivas USA-themed pod, discusses the supposed inherent racism in Chivas’ approach with Alexi Lalas and attendance issues, as well as other concerns the rest of the league has regarding the troubled club with Grant Wahl.

Do you have a favourite North American-based podcast I’m not listening to? Please share below. And of course, all the relevant subscription info – Twitter addresses, RSS feeds, etc. – are available at each of the sites linked above.

    1. Good call Chris, I've been listening for the past couple seasons at least. Big fan of the lil' TRex-armed fellow, but not that DC homer (I kid, I kid).

      Definitely worth the listen.
